Did you know that nearly 45% of our care receivers live in the St. Albans area? It's true! Sadly, as of this writing, only 3 of our volunteers call the city home. We need to fix this - and we need your help!
We're bringing our Volunteer Orientation Training show back to St. Albans for a repeat performance on Thursday, June 2nd. Join us at 6 pm at the St. Albans Public Library and learn how YOU can get involved as an active Faith in Action volunteer! Attending one of these sessions is required of all volunteers, but it's also a great way to learn more about our organization, what we do, and how we do it.
There are many benefits to being an FIAGKV volunteer...it's a rewarding, immensely fulfilling experience, for a start. But one of the best things about it is the flexibility. You pick and choose to serve by picking assignments that work with your schedule, on your time. There are no minimum hours requirements, no pressure, no "every Saturday at 10 a.m." commitment. You do what you can, when you can, and make an indelible impact on the quality of life of your neighbors.
