Kindness counts.

Barbara is legally blind. For years, finding reliable transportation options have been a real struggle for her. Finding rides from her Charleston home to her preferred, long time family doctor in Scott Depot was often impossible.

Factor in the fact that she often needs a little extra help finding her way, filling out forms, or even doing a bit of shopping, and she was often left with no choice but to pay high fees to acquaintances, neighbors, or taxi services for the "privilege" of a ride.

"Finding Faith in Action was wonderful for me. They've always been so dependable and reliable. They consistently do what they say they're going to, and often go beyond. They are helpful, and kind about it."

We are so proud of the work our volunteers do, because it's not really work at all. It's service, from the heart, neighbor to neighbor. Thanks, Barbara, for letting us share your story!
